Well the Lewis's have big news.
I would drag this out for a couple of days but since so many of you know, I guess I'll get right to it.
After ten years, we are moving. Richard has taken a new job and we will move at the end of the school year. Our new home will be about an hour from B-town on the east side of Houston.
Yes, we will officially live in south-east Texas.
The move is very bittersweet. This is a great professional opportunity for Richard because he is going to be the head guy at a brand new school. We get to embark on a brand new adventure and live closer to family. However, we have to leave all of our friends and awesome church; this is the part that always makes me wail. I know that we will make new friends and find a new church but you guys have no idea how valuable each of you are in our lives (and Matt's). Well, I am going to stop here because I can feel myself getting emotional.
By the way, I think my posting will be more regular because Richard is bringing his computer home for me to use. Our resident student computer genius is working on mine.

Every time I think about the move, I have to just tell myself to take a deep breath and say "an hour, Karla... you and Aleesa can make an hour... it will be fine!" Thank God for good phone services. The Rettigs will REALLY miss our Lewis family, but we are so excited for your adventure!

I was informed by aunt b I forgot a word. It should say I am very "proud" for Richard.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
We are so happy and proud for Richard!
This is a wonderful and very much deserved opportunity for him.
I'm sure everything is going to be
great for the Lewis family. There
will be many, many prayers from your family and friends and we know
that GOD is in control and has answered YOUR prayers.
GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!
We love you all very much,
Aunt Betty & Uncle Ron
I'm so happy for you guys! I know this is big and scary and wonderful and sad. Just sit and think... "at least I haven't moved 5 times in 4 years like Suzy..."
It is hard to leave, but now with the internet... you can still stay in touch.
I'll pray for you! And glad to have you back in blog land!
