Haiti: Rice feeding

At the end of our visit to the village of Canez, we passed out around 90, fifty pound, bags of rice. Each family received one bag! The total cost of the rice passed out that day was $3600. Rice in Haiti cost much more. Everything in Haiti cost more because it is an island and almost everything is imported.

Before we handed the rice out, Brent, with the help of our translator Penior, spoke to the villagers. I was able to capture it on video, but it was so windy that it's hard to hear. I hope you enjoy.
