Lesson Learned

Today, we attempted the unimaginable: Christmas shopping during nap time.

It took us about 50 minutes to get to the nearest mall and Matt slept 20 minutes. Matthew usually takes about a two hour nap.

We arrived at the mall and tried to do some Christmas shopping; Matt was most uncooperative. Duh! and yet, we acted so surprised. Then we went to Target, and let me say, it was the fastest trip I have ever made. During the ride home, Matt kept asking to get out and demanded everything. He literally told me he wanted everything.

When we got home, I had to lay outside in our swing for about 5 minutes in order to defrazzle myself.

Did you go to CS? If so, Evan and I would take turns. One of us would shop while the other stayed with the tiger/elephant/cat while she played at the tree house... but you probably tried that... sorry it didn't go well.

Like mother like son. That brings back old memories. Now you know, NO SHOPPING UNTIL AFTER NAP TIME!
