- Matt chose his own lunch on Friday. Oatmeal, cherry tomatoes with ranch, and a peanut butter-jelly-mozzerella sandwhich. Yes. He wanted cheese on his pb&j. He liked it.
- I made the best chocolate cake ever. It was a recipe from the Barefoot Contessa and consisted of a homemade chocolate mocha cake with chocolate mocha frosting. The cake had so much coffee and cocoa that it was almost black.
- The green smoothie. Honestly, it looks absolutely digusting but is very good. You blend 1 frozen banana, a handful of fresh baby spinich, and milk. The smoothie looks like split pea soup but tastes like a banana milkshake.
- I also baked 2 loaves of homemade whole white wheat bread. For all you Wednesday girls, this was Mandi's recipe. It was the easiest bread recipe I have ever tried. The loaves came out delish and we consumed 1 in a few hours.
Here are some pictures of the mysterious green smoothie. You will notice that in the second picture Matt is actually drinking his smoothie. Happily, I might add.
