Potluck, A Little Bit of Everything

Just when we finally thought we were back to normal around here the "sickies" hit our house. All three of us have seen the doctor within the last week! To give it to you in a nutshell:

• Matt has had allergies, congestion, and impetigo.



• Richard had the flu and strep throat.



• I had some weird viral throat thing.

Who wants to come and hang out at our house? Ha! Of course, as luck would have it, I got sick in between the two boys so I never really got any "sick time". I guess as mothers we never do.

Any who, who is excited about Thanksgiving?? ME!!!! I absolutely adore Thanksgiving. Food and family are two of my favorite things. In order to kick things off, I went to Target today and scored a great deal. I purchased a Rival oven roaster and 10 pound butterball turkey and got a $15 Target gift card. The roaster was on sale for $27 and I got a ten pound turkey for $6.80 (I had a coupon for $2 off!). When you factor in the gift card, it was a great deal.

Finally, since it is the season of apples, here is some inspiration if you find yourself with too many.
