Great Gift Idea

Have you ever heard of or made cake balls? I hope so because they are pure bliss.
If you have no idea what a cake ball is, let me explain. A cake ball is baked cake and frosting mixed together, rolled into a ball, and then dipped in chocolate or candy coating. In a nutshell, they are a bite size piece of sin. The great thing about them is that you can mix any combination of cake and frosting.

I had forgotten about these little gems until someone mentioned the idea for teacher gifts. I had been trying to figure out what to do for Matt's teachers for Valentine's Day and this sounded perfect. The best part was the cost. Nothing for me because I already had the ingredients in my pantry. I even had the cutie bags; I bought them at Hobby Lobby when they were half off.

They were a HUGE hit with his teachers. They even requested them for Matt's school birthday party in a few weeks, lol.

Those are adorable and sound amazing. I definitely would have pounded down a few if my students had brought them to me! haha
